Art and Craft Webpage UpdatingAre you an artist or craftsperson who is having trouble keeping your website up-to-date?

Perhaps your original designer no longer replies to your emails, or more likely, they have moved onto other fields of endeavor. Or perhaps you had asked a friend or relative to create a site for you, and now they are too busy to make any changes.

Or are you a brave soul who decided to do your own site construction, found that it takes more time than you expected, and would rather just focus on your art?

Since 1996 the Contois Reynolds Studio has been maintaining the websites of our own clients, and, we have taken over numerous sites for others after they found their original designers were unresponsive -- this is far more common than you might imagine. Art and Craft Webpage Updating

We are in a somewhat unique position as compared to other web design firms, having ourselves been in the arts & craft field for over 25 years, during which time we participated in nearly 400 top rated shows.

As the founders of the Juried OnLine Arts Festival (JOLAF.com) and EC Gallery (ElectronicCottage.com), we remain constantly involved with the arts, but now our venue is online, not on the road. So when it comes to presenting art & craft work on the World Wide Web, there are few if any other studios that have had more experience over such a long time period.

Our many years at shows taught us a valuable lesson when it came to selling on the internet -- a successful website will share many of the best qualities of a successful booth. That is, it should be uncluttered; the work itself should be front & center; your pieces should be beautifully presented; everything should be easy to find; and when it's time for a customer to make a purchase, they should be able to do that quickly & safely. You'd be amazed how many really talented artists do not follow those simple rules. Art and Craft Webpage Updating

So if you are in need of a website revitalization, then get in touch with us and we'll discuss your plans. You'll have the peace of mind in knowing that we remain available to help out whenever the need arises, so you can spend your time creating your artwork.

The cost will depend on what you want -- if it's just a matter of simple updates such as changing prices or replacing photos (etc), then things may move along quickly so the total time will be minimal; if however your site is a mess and what is really needed is a complete overhaul, then of course it will take considerably longer.

Thousands of artists and craftspeople are supplementing their incomes with sales & contacts from the WWW. If you're not one of them, or if your site is not performing as you expected, then it may be time to "rearrange the booth"!
